A 29-year-old man living in the Beshbola neighborhood of Fergana city entered a house in the neighborhood with the intention of committing a robbery because he was in debt from online gambling. According to court documents, he entered a neighboring house in the neighborhood where he lived and first tried to find money in empty rooms. After finding nothing, he came to the door of the room where the owner of the house was sleeping with her three children.

At that moment, a woman who had come out of the house began to scream at the unknown man wearing a mask, which woke up her children. When the woman quickly entered the room and tried to close the door from the inside, the young man quickly entered the room, attacked the woman with a knife in front of three children, and quickly fled the scene. The woman, who suffered serious injuries, died. As a result of the rapid search efforts, the young man was soon arrested.

According to the report on the “Rukhsar TV” channel, at a court hearing held at the Fergana City Criminal Court, he was found guilty under Article 97, Part 2, Subparagraph “j” and Article 164, Part 2, Subparagraph “c” of the Criminal Code.
