Man in Fergana stabbed his drunk acquaintance to death

A tragic incident occurred in Fergana region, where a man stabbed his drunk acquaintance to death, reports the Supreme Court’s press service.

The conflict started after the accused heard rumors that his father had reported the local billiard hall to the authorities. He confronted his friend, who was allegedly spreading the rumors. During the argument, the friend called his father a "snitch".

The situation escalated, and a mutual acquaintance, who was intoxicated, got involved and attacked the accused. In response, the man grabbed a nearby knife and stabbed the victim multiple times in the chest, stomach, and knees.

The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but later died despite medical efforts. The court found the man guilty under Article 97, Part 1 (Premeditated Murder).
