Eighth-Grade Student in Navoi Leaves School and Commits Suicide

An eighth-grade student in Navoi region, Karmana district, left school and tragically took her own life at home, NOVA24 reports.

According to initial reports, the incident occurred on February 28. The 14-year-old girl left her school, returned home, and hanged herself in the storage room.

A medical examination determined that the cause of death was mechanical asphyxia (suffocation). Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating the circumstances of the case, but the exact reasons remain unknown. The regional prosecutor’s office has launched an official investigation.
