Mirziyoyev congratulates World War II veterans

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated World War II participants and labor front veterans on the 80th anniversary of Victory, reports Kursiv Media.

“First of all, I congratulate you and, through you, all our esteemed veterans on the 80th anniversary of Victory. On behalf of the entire nation, I express my deep gratitude to you,” he said.

Mirziyoyev noted that thanks to the heroism of the veterans, the current generation lives in peace.

This year, World War II participants will receive a one-time payment of $10,000 (approximately 128 million soums). Individuals equated to war participants will be allocated 25 million soums, and labor front veterans will receive 3 million soums. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
