A fight broke out between traffic patrol officers and drivers in Guzar: Court verdict announced

A video of a dispute between police officers and drivers in the Guzar district of the Kashkadarya region has been circulating on social media. The regional Road Safety Department has provided official information on the incident.

It is reported that in the Guzar district, a preventive inspector of the internal affairs department and officers of the patrol post battalion of the Road Safety Department, while performing their official duties, signaled the driver of a truck to stop. However, the driver ignored this request and tried to flee the scene.

The officers of the patrol post battalion managed to stop the driver and demanded documents related to the vehicle from him. However, the driver refused to comply with the lawful demands of the police officers. In addition, the driver's brother also intervened in the incident and actively resisted the police officers.

In this case, reports were drawn up in accordance with the relevant procedure against the brothers, and the case materials were sent to the Guzar District Criminal Court for consideration.

As a result of the court hearing, the Guzar District Criminal Court issued a legal decision against the brothers. According to the court verdict, they were sentenced to a fine of 7 times the basic calculation amount and up to 3 days of administrative arrest.

The Kashkadarya Regional Traffic Safety Department once again reminded all drivers through this incident to unconditionally obey the lawful requirements of police officers and strictly observe traffic rules.
