A driver who intentionally and repeatedly ran over and killed an acquaintance in the Fergana region was sentenced to 8 years and 6 months in prison.
It is reported that a citizen from Kokand, who had previously been convicted twice, ran over a neighbor in an Onix car registered to someone else.
The report did not specify when and where the incident occurred, but it was caused by a disagreement between the driver and the shop owner.
It is reported that the driver called the shop owner and signaled. When he went out into the street, a conflict arose between them. After that, the driver entered the shop owner from behind, strangled him, causing bodily injury. He took two bottles of water and left.
The shop owner called his brothers and called them. The driver also returned and, driving at high speed, ran over the shop owner. Even though he knew that the victim was lying under the car, he still moved the car forward and crushed the citizen with its wheels.
The victim died in hospital ten days later. The defendant was sentenced to 8 years and 6 months in prison.
