The Department of Public Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan is implementing a wide-ranging set of measures to ensure the reliable protection of the rights of minors within the framework of the "Urgent 90-day" measures. In particular, legal guardians and sponsors have been appointed for 361 children whose parents live abroad. This will provide them with social and regulatory protection and all necessary conditions.
This summer, 189 inpatient (full-time) and 1,239 day camps for children will operate in our country. The goal is to provide more than 300 thousand of our children with a quality and meaningful vacation. As of June 15, 180 inpatient camps were operating, and 36,464 children were admitted to them. This is an important indicator related to the health, development and mental well-being of students.
1,379 daily buses were sent on a trip to safely and orderly transport children to the camp. Almost 500 road patrol officers took part in the trip with responsibility. Their task is to monitor the safety of children on the road, maintain order and ensure safe transportation.
The basis of these large-scale measures is to protect the lives of children during the summer holidays, guarantee their health and well-being. In these operations, parents are providing their children, entrusted to their guardians with social support, educational responsibility and constant attention.
Guardians and guardians are also responsible for ensuring the spiritual, educational, physical health and education of children. In this regard, a special plan and the main points of the program have been developed, cooperation has been established with internal affairs officers, teachers and medical specialists.
Since the beginning of the spring season, dozens of local and regional target groups have been created to further strengthen the holiday sector within the framework of the "Dolzarb 90-day" events. They are engaged in providing assistance to socially vulnerable children, studying their problems, and monitoring social events.
According to open data, the social adaptation of children deprived of parental attention is not easy. It is very important for every child to have full access to education, health care services, and to be raised in a friendly environment. Therefore, the role of sponsors is very relevant today.
Experts emphasize that a modern system of sponsorship and social programs for children whose parents are abroad ensures the stability of a child's life. Such an approach strengthens respect for parents, national spirituality, and social solidarity in society.
These measures will provide equal social protection not only to children without parents, but also to all children of the country. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and partner organizations continue to work together to further protect children's rights. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
