The collision between Damas and Cobalt in Piskent ended in a crash

A traffic accident that occurred in Tashkent region caused serious concern among citizens. On the morning of July 8, a major car accident involving Damas and Cobalt vehicles occurred on a local road in Piskent district, according to the press service of the State Road Traffic Safety Inspection.

The incident was recorded around 09:00 on the 14th kilometer of the road connecting the city of Almalyk and Piskent district. For unknown reasons, Damas and Cobalt vehicles moving in opposite directions collided. As a result, three participants of the road traffic sustained injuries of varying severity and were taken to the hospital by an emergency medical team.

Currently, the injured citizens are under doctors’ supervision. They are receiving the necessary medical treatment. According to confirmed information, the victims include the driver of the Damas, a passenger in the Damas, and the driver of the Cobalt.

A pre-investigation check has been launched by officers of the Piskent District Department of Internal Affairs. The reasons for the incident, directions of movement, speed, and additional circumstances are being investigated. A legal decision is expected following the results of the investigation.

It is noted that a special commission is also examining the road condition, weather at the time of the incident, the presence or absence of road signs and traffic lights. Such accidents often result from inadequate technical conditions or drivers' negligence.
