In Kashkadarya region, specifically in the Oltindala mahalla of the Kukdala district, a fire occurred at a fuel filling station. The Ministry of Emergency Situations provided official information regarding this incident. Fortunately, no one was injured during the event, and no human casualties were reported.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, on July 16 at 14:40, a report about a fire at the gas station was received by the district department. Fire and rescue services arrived at the scene very quickly — at 14:45. It is known that 4 special teams were involved in the complete extinguishing of the fire.
It is especially noteworthy that, despite the intensity of the fire, it was quickly brought under control by firefighters and fully extinguished at 15:35 thanks to their precise actions. As a result, a major tragedy was avoided, and many people breathed a sigh of relief.
Currently, specialists have begun investigating the causes of the incident. Preliminary assumptions suggest that the fire may have occurred due to technical failure or violation of safety rules. However, this is not an official conclusion, and a special expert group is conducting an investigation.
It is also reported that calculations of material damage and listing of damaged equipment are underway. Such incidents at flammable facilities like gas and fuel stations are always considered a threat not only in terms of economic loss but also to human life.
It ended well that the fire in Oltindala did not spread to neighboring areas. If there had been strong wind during the blaze or other fuel storage nearby, the situation could have turned out much worse.
In videos circulating on social media, it is clearly seen that flames rose high into the sky, and intense heat spread around. According to reports, people watched in fear, moved away from the station, and some were evacuated from nearby buildings.
The emergency services note that such cases often arise from careless adherence to safety regulations. Therefore, all responsible parties and business owners are once again urged to thoroughly review their safety systems and establish higher levels of control.
The fire in Kashkadarya, fortunately, ended without casualties. But this incident must serve as a serious lesson to all of us. Once again: the final word will come from the investigation. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
