Energy sector experts emphasize that such incidents require serious attention in terms of health and safety. On high-voltage facilities such as substations, any technical malfunction can lead to multimillion losses and pose a threat to human life.

Zamin.uz editorial staff calls on the public to remain vigilant: if you notice suspicious noises, signs of fire, or unusual smells from electrical transformers, substations, or other high-voltage equipment, report it immediately to the appropriate authorities.

The fire in Mirzo Ulugbek district was brought under control in a short time and ended without major consequences. However, this situation is a reminder of the need for constant monitoring and regular maintenance of electrical infrastructure.

Currently, the emergency department and power supply authorities are conducting a comprehensive inspection regarding the incident. If necessary, the technical condition of the substation may be completely updated or replaced.
