Family stranded in Russia repatriated

On the eve of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, an Uzbek woman and her two underage children who found themselves in a difficult life situation in Novosibirsk, Russia, were returned to Uzbekistan, reported “Dunyo” Information Agency.

The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk, in cooperation with the local office of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, swiftly organized their return through a series of urgent measures.

The necessary documents, including return certificates for the children, were issued free of charge, and airline tickets were purchased for the family.

On the night of July 29, 2025, the family was safely escorted back to Uzbekistan under official supervision.
