Two trucks collided in Kamchik

The nighttime collision on the Kamchik Pass once again brought the issue of road safety in our country to the agenda. According to Favqulodda.uz, on July 30 at around 22:15, two freight trucks collided on the A-373 "Tashkent–Osh" international highway.

Experts stated that the incident occurred due to a technical problem in the braking system of an ISUZU brand truck. It crashed at high speed into a moving IVECO truck, resulting in a severe collision.

Following the collision, the situation was assessed as serious, and an urgent message was sent to the Kamchik Special Search and Rescue Unit. Rescue workers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly arrived at the scene. Thanks to their practical assistance, both drivers were safely evacuated from their vehicles and did not suffer bodily injuries.

During the rescue operation, special equipment and tools were used. The affected section of the road was temporarily closed, and the trucks were moved to a safe location. It was reported that there were no casualties, which became the biggest relief.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations called on all drivers to pay special attention to the technical condition of their vehicles, especially the braking system, on mountain and pass roads.

Thanks to the prompt actions, coordinated work of the responsible authorities, and the public’s conscious attitude, the consequences of this accident were minor. However, this incident should serve as a serious lesson for ensuring safe driving in the future.
