Baby who was expected for 12 years dies due to doctor's error

On July 26, 2025, a heartbreaking incident occurred in Parkent district of Tashkent region. A 9-month-old baby girl, born after 12 years of hope, died allegedly due to medical negligence.

According to the parents, the baby was brought to the hospital in critical condition, but emergency care was delayed. Her health was not properly assessed, and timely action was not taken.

A few hours later, the child tragically passed away. In response, authorities launched a criminal investigation under Articles 116 and 117 of the Criminal Code.

Officials emphasize that this case must serve as a serious warning for all healthcare institutions. Every child’s life is invaluable and must be protected with utmost responsibility.
