The fire that occurred in a shopping center in Surkhandarya region caused deep concern among many. This incident, which sharply disturbed the nighttime peace, sparked wide discussion on social networks.
According to the information, at around 03:02 on August 4, a severe fire broke out on the first and second floors of a three-story shopping center located in Bobotog mahalla of the Shurchi district. Instead of the usual nighttime calm, city residents witnessed a frightening and alarming scene.
The fire and rescue service under the Ministry of Emergency Situations responded immediately to the incident. At 03:15, the units arrived at the scene and began efforts to contain the fire. As a result of their coordinated actions, the fire was localized at 05:10. However, it took more than two additional hours to completely extinguish the fire — the blaze was fully eliminated only by 07:30.
In total, 10 fire and rescue teams were involved in extinguishing the fire. Additionally, 2 water supply vehicles actively participated. Thanks to their coordinated efforts, the fire did not spread to a larger area.
It is emphasized that no human casualties were recorded in this fire — there were no reports of injuries or deaths. This is considered a fortunate outcome due to the swift and coordinated response of the rescuers.
Currently, the relevant authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident. The cause of the fire is still unknown, but specialists are studying all aspects.
