Citizens of Uzbekistan are leading in entry into Russia

According to statistics, since the beginning of 2025, Uzbekistan citizens have been the largest group entering Russia, Uz24 reported. The top five also include Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, China, and Kyrgyzstan.

Over 1.8 million Uzbeks crossed the Russian Federation border this year. Of them, 1.3 million (70%) came for work, 291,000 (16%) for personal visits, while the rest traveled for study and other purposes.

For comparison: 1.5 million from Kazakhstan, over 800,000 from Tajikistan, 760,000 from China, and nearly 500,000 from Kyrgyzstan entered Russia.

The top ten also include citizens of Abkhazia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and Mongolia.
