Illegal circulation of potent drugs was uncovered in the Fergana region. In a joint operation conducted by the Uchkuprik District Department of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office and employees of the State Security Service, a number of pharmacy sellers were caught red-handed.

According to the information, a pharmacist belonging to the family enterprise "U.F.," located in the city of Kokand, sold 50 ampoules of the potent drug "Omnadren 250" to a customer without a doctor's prescription. The total value of this product is estimated at 2.4 million soums. During the operation, the seller was detained with material evidence.

Also, during another operation, conducted in cooperation with the Dangara District Department and the State Security Service, "V.F.," located in the territory of the "Yangiqo'rg'on" mahalla citizens' assembly of Buvayda District, was detained. A pharmacist belonging to the LLC was also detained for illegal actions. He was exposed with material evidence when he sold 75 ampoules of Omnadren 250 to a buyer for 4.1 million soums without a doctor's prescription.

Officials emphasized that Omnadren 250 is among the most potent drugs, and its uncontrolled use can pose a serious threat to human health. Therefore, such medications can only be sold based on a doctor's prescription and an official prescription.
