On September 24, the health of several preschoolers in the Pskent and Buka districts of the Tashkent region deteriorated. This was reported by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.
The children were examined in medical associations and diagnosed with "acute gastrointestinal dysfunction, food poisoning." Due to the absence of children in serious condition, they were discharged home after necessary treatment.
The situation is under the control of the ministry. The Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare Committee and law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation.
According to preliminary data, 3.2 percent kefir, produced at one of the enterprises in the Akkurgan district, could cause poisoning.
Currently, analyses and food samples taken from patients are being studied in the laboratory. It was stated that additional information would be provided after the official conclusion is announced.
