38 poisoned children in Tashkent region still in hospital

As of 12:00 on September 29, 38 children remain hospitalized due to poisoning cases in kindergartens in Tashkent region. This was reported by Nurmat Otabekov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Sanitary-Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, according to UZ24.uz.

According to the official, the condition of the children is stable, and they will be discharged from the hospital in the coming days. Parents are being informed daily about the health status of the children.

According to preliminary information:
• Nearly 2,000 children were poisoned in 7 districts and cities
• It was determined that all the children consumed the same kefir product

• A criminal case has been opened
• 7 suspects have been detained
