Drug addicts caught trying to distribute drugs in Angren

During an operational event conducted in the city of Angren, Tashkent region, by employees of the State Security Service and the city Department of Internal Affairs, two individuals were detained for attempting to distribute a large quantity of synthetic drugs.

One of them, a person born in 2000, who had previously committed a crime related to drug trafficking, was detained while receiving 971 grams of the synthetic substance "Katinon" from his accomplice and planning to sell it in installments.

A criminal case has been initiated under part 5 of Article 25, 273 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The investigation is ongoing.

According to the law, suspects in such serious crimes can be imprisoned for more than 10 years.
