A case of driving a vehicle without a driver's license was identified in Navoi region, the regional Department of Internal Affairs information service reported, according to the Upl.uz website.
At the DPS "Samarkand" stationary post, an attempt was made to stop a "Malibu-2" car, but the driver did not stop and tried to escape. Due to the pursuit, the vehicle could not go far.
It was revealed that a 16-year-old drunk teenager was behind the wheel. A friend of his, the owner of the vehicle, handed over control to him. The vehicle owner himself had also consumed alcohol and put the teenager behind the wheel before reaching the post. They were driving along the "Navoi–Samarkand" route.
Appropriate measures were taken regarding the incident, and a preventive conversation was held with both violators.
