A court verdict was announced against a man who buried his wife alive in a pit in the Kattakurgan district of the Samarkand region. According to the court documents studied by the "Daryo" source, the crime was committed by A.N., born in 1995.
She was officially married to E.E. in 2019 and had three children. Constant quarrels and violence were observed in the family. In April 2021, the husband came home drunk and beat his wife, forcing her to dig a hole. He dropped the woman into the dug pit, covered her with dirt, and even parked a "Zhiguli" car.
After three days without food and water, the woman lost consciousness. When he regained consciousness, threats, violence, and coercion continued. According to court documents, the husband threatened the woman with killing the dog and ordered her to bury the same pit again.
Only years later - on February 2, 2025, after another quarrel, the woman appealed to the Department of Internal Affairs. During the trial, she stated that she had no material claims against her husband, but the court took into account the severity of the crime.
As a result, A.N. was found guilty under several articles of the Criminal Code and sentenced to 3 years and 3 months of imprisonment. He will serve his sentence in a maximum-security colony.
