The virus among children is a typical form of seasonal cold, according to UZ24.uz. The Ministry of Health gave an official comment on the situation, recommending people not to panic unnecessarily.
It was reported that this year the cold season started later than usual—at the end of October. Patients are experiencing not only fever and cough, but also diarrhea and vomiting.
This is explained by the variability of virus strains. The ministry emphasized that it is incorrect to associate this situation with COVID-19, as this virus has now become an ordinary respiratory infection.
Currently, the epidemiological situation in the country is stable. There are sufficient medicines, places, and necessary reserves in hospitals. The process is under constant monitoring.
