A teacher at secondary school No. 112, located in the Urgut district of the Samarkand region, was found to have been beaten by a drunk man.
According to reports, the incident occurred on October 27. The school administration immediately reported the incident to the district police department. The injured teacher was taken to a medical association and received the necessary medical assistance.
Representatives of the regional Department of Preschool and School Education reported that they have taken the situation under control, and the teacher's condition is stable.
"Law enforcement agencies are conducting an investigation into this incident," the department's statement said.
Officials emphasized that such cases of violence on the territory of educational institutions are absolutely unacceptable, and the perpetrator will be held accountable within the framework of the law.
