The seemingly simple but thought-provoking road accident that occurred in Andijan at night once again reminded us of the importance of a single moment in life.
On November 3, at approximately 10:15 PM, a driver, K.M., born in 1963, was driving his ZIL-130 truck in the "Madaniyat" neighborhood of Andijan city. He was tired from the long journey, perhaps he had worked all day, but a moment of fatigue cost him dearly. The driver, who fell asleep at the wheel, lost control of his car and crashed into an electrical pole.
As a result of the accident, the driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. Employees of the Andijan City Department of Internal Affairs Traffic Safety Department promptly arrived at the scene and launched an investigation into the incident.
According to official data, such cases have been frequently observed in recent years. According to experts, a significant portion of road accidents are attributed to the human factor - drivers' fatigue, insomnia, or negligence. Especially driving at night or on a long road weakens a person's reflexes.
