A mother and daughter from Uzbekistan, who found themselves in a difficult situation in Russia, have returned home

An Uzbek woman and her minor daughter, who found themselves in a difficult situation in Russia's Krasnoyarsk Territory, have been repatriated, the Dunyo news agency reported.

It turned out that the woman was detained by local law enforcement agencies for violating Russian migration legislation. Due to the loss of her personal documents, she was placed in a temporary detention center, and her underage daughter was in a special institution for children.

The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk and the representative office of the Migration Agency took the necessary measures. Consular staff carried out work to restore the documents of the woman and her child, prepare permits and tickets for return to the homeland.

As a result, the mother and daughter were returned to Uzbekistan by the Krasnoyarsk-Tashkent flight. Officials reminded that they are monitoring their situation, and to prevent such cases, citizens abroad need to keep their documents and strictly follow migration rules.
