A fight broke out between underage girls in the city of Andijan, the regional Department of Internal Affairs reported.
Videos circulating on social media show a group of girls beating another girl and causing her bodily injuries. According to reports, the incident took place on November 7 in the “Mustaqillik” neighborhood of Andijan city.
Preliminary information indicates that the conflict arose due to a personal disagreement among four underage girls. One of them, identified as Y.D., along with her friends, inflicted bodily harm on E.M.
At present, a pre-investigation inquiry has been launched, and all circumstances of the incident are being examined.
According to the Department of Internal Affairs, administrative reports have been drawn up against the parents of the minors under Article 47 of the Administrative Responsibility Code (failure to fulfill parental duties of upbringing and education of a child). They may face fines ranging from one to five basic calculation units — from 412,000 to 2 million soums.
