Reports that 9 people died in a traffic accident in Kashkadarya have been denied

Reports that nine people died in a traffic accident in the Guzar district of Kashkadarya region have been proven false, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the information, the incident occurred when a “Sobalt” car traveling from Surkhandarya to Tashkent collided with a “Nexia-2” vehicle. As a result of the accident, six people were taken to the hospital, one of whom died from his injuries. The remaining victims received medical assistance.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that online claims about “nine fatalities” do not correspond to reality.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 266 of the Criminal Code — violation of traffic rules resulting in death. Investigative actions are ongoing.
