An unusual situation was discovered at the “Navoi” border customs post in Tashkent region: customs officers, suspicious of the behavior of a citizen entering from a neighboring country, inspected him using a special scanner.
When contours that did not match the standard appeared on the images, the citizen was subjected to a personal inspection in the prescribed manner. During the check, the most unexpected scene was revealed — the man had hidden 30 quails inside the inner part of his clothing. He had neither declared this nor mentioned it orally.
Currently, customs authorities are conducting an investigation regarding this situation. Considering that the CITEC conference is being held these days in Samarkand, preventing such violations has become even more important.
