
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the death of a 31-year-old man who came for a nasal surgery at a private clinic in the Olmazor district of Tashkent. According to the General Prosecutor’s Office, on November 12, patient H.D., born in 1994, visited the clinic with several nose-related illnesses and was scheduled for a surgical operation.
It is reported that during the operation, at around 12:20, the patient’s pulse suddenly disappeared, and due to cardiac arrest, he passed away. According to preliminary forensic medical examination documents, the cause of death was acute coronary death and anaphylactic shock.
Following this incident, an official medical examination was appointed to determine the cause of death. On November 29, a criminal case was opened against the clinic’s doctors under Article 116, part 4, section “a” of the Criminal Code. It is noted that investigative procedures are ongoing.
Additionally, based on a separate order, the operation of the private clinic was officially suspended starting from December 6.
