Measures were taken against 235 consumers who wasted electricity

In Uzbekistan, control over cases of inefficient use of electricity has been strengthened. During raids conducted by Uzenergoinspektsiya, 235 consumers were found to have wasted electricity in just one day.

A total of 59 administrative protocols were drawn up for violations. Additional investigations are being conducted on the remaining cases.

For example, "D.D.," located in the Chilanzar district of Tashkent city. At the service facility belonging to the LLC, it was found that street lighting was on even during daylight hours. This was assessed as unjustified use of electricity, and a report was drawn up against the head of this company under Article 100 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.

Officials emphasize that energy resource conservation is mandatory for all consumers, especially during the winter season when maintaining supply stability.
