A video of students playing cards at a school in the Davlatabad district of the Namangan region was circulated on social media. In response to this, the Department of Preschool and School Education of the region commented on the incident.
According to the investigation, on November 28, students from class 11-“A” were found to be playing cards in the classroom after the lessons. This event was filmed.
Additionally, the deputy directors and the class teacher were subjected to a disciplinary penalty in the form of a fine of 30% of their salary. The class teacher was removed from the position.
Moreover, the Davlatabad District Internal Affairs Directorate imposed fines on the parents in accordance with the Code of Administrative Responsibility. They are held accountable for neglecting their children’s behavior.
The Department of School Education has stated that they will fight against such misconduct and strengthen educational discipline.
