A shooting at the prestigious Brown University campus in Providence, Rhode Island, has led to tragic consequences. As a result of this incident, a citizen of Uzbekistan, student Muhammad Aziz Umurzakov, died.
This was reported by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. The message expressed deep condolences to the family members and relatives of the deceased student, emphasizing that this tragedy claimed the lives of innocent people.
It was reported that Uzbekistan's diplomatic missions in the USA immediately began work on the incident. Diplomats are in constant contact with the relatives of the deceased and cooperate with the relevant US agencies on legal and organizational issues.
It is noted that at least two people were killed and nine others were injured in the shooting at Brown University. The condition of most of the victims is assessed as serious.
