Women's rights should not be restricted under the guise of Sharia

No woman's rights can be restricted under the pretext of Sharia. Because as soon as religion begins to become a means of intimidating or subjugating a person, it moves away from its essence. If religion becomes a tool for justifying oppression, this very circumstance indicates the need for a correct understanding and reorganization of religion.

Islam is, in essence, a religion of tolerance that leads a person to spiritual perfection, calling them to faith, conscience, and justice. It glorifies human dignity, honor, and rights. But, unfortunately, some religious movements and dogmatic views, artificially formed under the name of Islam, try not to accept a woman as a person.

Such approaches force a woman to remain silent, not make decisions about her personal life, and stay away from the affairs of society. This clearly contradicts not only human rights but also the essence of Islam. As a result, deep contradictions and painful questions arise even within a society that considers itself Muslim.

We live in the 21st century, but it's unfortunate that women are still interpreted as if they should remain within an artificial mold drawn in the name of Sharia. A woman is not an object. It is not an object to be nurtured or controlled. He is a full-fledged person with independent thinking, knowledge, and responsibility for life.

Today, in developed countries, women are managing large businesses, deciding the fate of the state in ministries, parliaments, and even in presidential positions. In such times, it is truly concerning that attempts to forcibly "hide" women behind hijabs or masks and silence them continue in some societies.

It must be admitted: religion is not protected by restricting women's rights. Religion is protected by justice, fairness, and the harmony of freedom and responsibility. When justice prevails, both religion and society win.

In a country where women can breathe freely, express their opinion, and have the right to make decisions, both faith and progress will be strong. Because true religion lives not in fear, but in conscious choice, respect, and justice.
