The difficult situation related to the school in the Denau district of Surkhandarya region drew public attention. According to the regional Department of Preschool and School Education, the incident is currently being investigated by the competent authorities.
According to UzNews, B.S., an 11th-grade student of secondary school No. 64 in the Denau district, is suspected of committing sexual violence against N.Sh., a 9th-grade student of this school.
According to the department, the incident occurred several months ago outside the school premises, as well as outside the educational process. The details of the incident were investigated by the school administration, discussed with the participation of parents, and officially reported to the internal affairs bodies.
The official statement notes that "during the investigation, the protection of the rights, honor, and dignity of minors, as well as their mental state, was identified as a priority task." Also, in connection with this situation, the school administration, together with the responsible agencies, is taking the necessary measures.
