According to the press service of “O‘zbekiston temir yo‘llari” JSC the incident occurred on January 22 2026 between the Gidrouzel and Nukus stations It is reported that the victim attempted to cross the railway through an unauthorized place and did not follow safety rules during the movement of the passenger train
“The victim violated traffic rules and did not pay sufficient attention to her own safety At present the responsible services are studying the details of the incident” the official information says
The company once again reminded citizens that railways must be crossed only at designated crossing places and that warning signs and rules must be strictly observed The report did not provide exact information about which direction passenger train was involved
