Amira Aminova, an 11-year-old girl from Uzbekistan, died in a tragic road accident in New York City. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in New York issued an official statement.
The Consulate General confirmed the circumstances of the incident and expressed its deepest condolences to the mother and relatives of the deceased:
"We express our deepest condolences to the mother, relatives, and all relatives of the deceased girl in connection with this grave and irreparable loss."
The diplomatic mission is in constant contact with A. Aminova's mother. Also, in cooperation with the relevant departments in New York City, necessary assistance is provided on legal and organizational issues.
This painful event left a deep mark on the hearts of our compatriots. We express our gratitude to the family and bow our heads before the bright memory of the deceased.
