The sale of large quantities of counterfeit alcoholic products has been stopped in the Samarkand region. It was reported that counterfeit alcoholic beverages with a total value of 440 million soums were discovered.
During a joint operation conducted by the Toyloq District Department of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office and other law enforcement officers, the warehouse belonging to citizen B.F. was inspected. During this process, a large volume of products stored for sale was discovered.
During the inspection, 16,960 counterfeit excise stamped alcoholic products of 86 types, with a total value of 440 million soums, were discovered. These products were taken as material evidence.
A criminal case has been initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
