In the Uchtepa district of Tashkent, a person involved in drug trafficking was apprehended by law enforcement officers. A citizen named Timur had been placing drugs in various hidden locations across the area during his illegal activities.
During an operational measure, a total of 138 packages containing drugs were found on the suspect and in the places he had hidden them, and were seized as physical evidence. A criminal case has been initiated by law enforcement agencies regarding this incident. Investigations revealed that the individual was engaged in the large-scale sale of drugs.
Currently, the suspect has been detained in accordance with procedural rules. According to the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, crimes related to drug trafficking are punishable by up to 20 years of imprisonment. The investigation is ongoing.
