A court verdict has been announced in the city of Angren against a group of individuals who committed crimes against a minor girl. This was reported by the press service of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan.
This case attracted the attention of the general public last summer. Today, the Angren City Criminal Court considered the case against S. K. (born in 2006, Tashkent region), Z. U. (born in 2004, Tashkent region), D. U. (born in 2004, Tashkent region), and A. U. (born in 2003, Tashkent region) and delivered a verdict.
The criminal case was considered in a closed court session in accordance with Article 19 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Uzbekistan.
According to the court decision, S. K., Z. U., D. U., and A. U. were found guilty of committing a crime against the minor S. Ya. (a girl born in 2010) under Article 118, Part 3, Clause "a," Article 119, Part 3, Clause "a," and other relevant articles of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.
The sentences imposed by the court are as follows:
- S. K. - 10 years of imprisonment under clause "a" of part 3 of Article 118,
- Z. U. - 12 years under Articles 118 and 119,
- D.O. - 10 years 6 months,
- A. U. (Group II disabled person) - 7 years and 6 months of imprisonment.
The parties have the right to appeal the court's verdict to the appellate or cassation instance of the Tashkent Regional Court in the manner and within the time limits established by law.
