In total, 69.1 thousand new houses will be commissioned in Uzbekistan in 2025. This figure increased by 2.4 thousand compared to 2024, the National Statistical Committee reports.
The largest number of houses was built in the Navoi region, and 10.8 thousand new houses were commissioned in Namangan. In addition, 6.7 thousand houses were put into operation in the Tashkent region and 6.1 thousand in the Surkhandarya region.
In Fergana, Khorezm, and Tashkent, 5.9 thousand houses were built each, and in Bukhara - 5.6 thousand new houses. The lowest indicator was recorded in the Syrdarya region - 0.6 thousand houses.
It was also announced in January 2026 that the informal sector in Uzbekistan carried out construction work worth 4 trillion soums, which is 7.1% more than in the same period in 2025.
