Employees of the Fergana Regional Department of the State Security Service, in cooperation with customs and internal affairs bodies, carried out an оператив operation aimed at combating the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs and strong-acting medicinal preparations.
During the operation, it was established that two residents of the city of Kokand, born in 1994 and 2002, traveled in a “Gentra” vehicle belonging to their acquaintance — a citizen born in 2001 living in Kuvasay district — to the Fergana district. There, they received 11,650 units of the medicinal preparation “Regapen,” which had been illegally smuggled into the country from a neighboring republic.
Afterwards, while transporting these medicines to the city of Kokand, they were stopped by an оператив group in the territory of the Uchkupirik district. It is reported that the offenders threw the medicines out of the vehicle and attempted to flee the scene, but their plan was not successful.
During the initial investigation, it was established that these individuals had been engaged in the sale of the mentioned medicinal preparations in the cities of Fergana and Kokand.
A criminal case has been initiated against them, and investigative actions are ongoing.
