Uzbekistan to broadly celebrate "Independence Wedding" festival nationwide

“Independence Wedding” festival to be widely celebrated across Uzbekistan

A major cultural and educational project—the "Mustaqillik To‘yi" (Independence Wedding) festival—is planned to be held in our country in connection with the 35th anniversary of state independence. This comprehensive event will span all regions of the country from May to September of this year.

The festival is organized under the motto "As a single Motherland, a single people, we will create a new life and future!" and is aimed at strengthening the feelings of solidarity, patriotism, and respect for national values among compatriots.

This cultural-educational initiative will be implemented in cooperation with the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, the Association of Neighborhoods of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Culture, the Youth Affairs Agency, the "Ma’rifat" Propagandists Society, and several other state and public organizations.

More than ten social, spiritual, and cultural projects are intended to be implemented within the framework of the festival. Through these projects, national ideas and views on modern development will be harmonized among various segments of the population, especially the youth.

According to reports, detailed information about the festival was provided during a meeting of the Republican Organizing Committee. The program of events will be formed taking into account the uniqueness and cultural traditions of each region.

It is worth noting that this initiative was first put forward in the President's resolution dedicated to the worthy celebration of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence. The festival is expected not only to create a festive atmosphere but also to serve the promotion of new ideas and goals in society.
