Uzbekistan records 175 divorces for every 1,000 marriages

As a result of analyses conducted on the status of marriages in Uzbekistan, family stability indicators in the country have been announced. As of 2025, the marriage stability coefficient in the republic stands at 175.6 per mille.
These figures indicate that there is an average of 175 divorces for every 1,000 registered marriages in the country. Data broken down by region confirmed that the stability of family relations varies across different regions.
According to the analysis, marriage stability remains at a higher level in Qashqadaryo, Xorazm, and Surxondaryo regions compared to other areas. In these regions, family strength has demonstrated positive indicators.
Conversely, it was noted that divorce rates are relatively high in Tashkent city, Sirdaryo, and Tashkent regions. In these areas, the number of family divorces was observed to be higher than the national average.
