New restrictions introduced in apartment buildings

An important document aimed at further systematizing the rules for living in and using apartment buildings has been adopted in Uzbekistan. The "Rules for the Maintenance and Use of Apartment Buildings" have been registered by the Ministry of Justice.

According to the new regulations, a number of restrictions have been introduced to ensure safety and order in multi-story buildings. Specifically, the installation of equipment that poses a fire hazard on balconies and loggias is strictly prohibited. Furthermore, storing heavy items in these areas is also banned.

Another important aspect of the rules concerns the preservation of the building's exterior appearance. It is no longer permitted to hang laundry, clothing, carpets, or other items on the facade side of balconies and loggias. However, it is noted that such actions are allowed on the interior side.

Keeping pets in common areas has also been restricted. Specifically, it is prohibited to keep animals in stairwells, basements, attics, shared kitchens, and even on balconies.

At the same time, storing flammable materials in stairwells or underneath them has been banned. This is considered an important measure aimed at ensuring fire safety.

The rules also specify requirements regarding heating systems. It is not permitted to carry out unauthorized remodeling, install additional heating equipment, or make changes to the common heating system in the home.

New restrictions have also been introduced for motor vehicles. It is now prohibited to park cars on lawns, playgrounds, sidewalks, and in front of entrance walkways.

In short, the new rules are aimed at ensuring order, safety, and aesthetic appearance in residential buildings. Adherence to these requirements will make the living environment significantly more comfortable and safe.
