On May 9, a notable incident occurred in the Yakkabag district of the Kashkadarya region. MMA fighter Jasurbek Jurayev, known as the “Uzbek Tyson,” faced trouble after failing to stop for a traffic police officer.

According to the Regional Road Safety Department, the Kia Sonet driven by the athlete was identified shortly after and stopped. The driver was then asked why he did not comply with the officer's signal.

It turned out that Jasurbek Jurayev admitted he does not yet have a driver's license. Consequently, an administrative report was filed against him, and the vehicle was impounded.

The fighter commented on the situation, stating that he plans to obtain his driver's license soon. He noted that he has been unable to find time for it recently due to training and sports activities.

“I will get my license soon. I am busy with training right now and haven't had time. The law is the same for everyone. I regret my actions and do not recommend this to anyone,” he commented.

This incident serves as another reminder of the importance of following traffic rules, especially not driving without a license. It clearly demonstrates that everyone is equal before the law.
