Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has responded to a question about why midfielder Kevin De Bruyne was absent from the match against Real Madrid.
The second leg of the Champions League play-off between Real Madrid and Manchester City took place on February 19. The match ended with the defeat of the "city" and they were eliminated from the competition. The 33-year-old De Bruyne watched the entire match on the bench.
Guardiola said that the Belgian player has no injuries.
"It was my decision as a coach. He is not injured. Yes, of course he can still play in important games... he played in the home match against Real Madrid. Of course he can play," said Guardiola. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
