Football scout: "Interest in Central Asian footballers has increased due to Abdukоdir Khusanov"

In an interview with Manchester Evening News, renowned football scout Cank Cetin highly praised the performance of Uzbekistan national team and Manchester City defender Abdukodir Khusanov.

He expressed his opinion on the player's high performance at the 2023 U-20 World Cup in Argentina.

"He left no chance for his opponents in aerial duels in all four matches he played in the tournament. In addition to his physical strength, he is a very fast and agile player."

Cetin also highlighted Khusanov's performance in the 1/8 finals against Israel:

Speaking about the future of Abdukodir Khusanov, the scout noted that he could become an even higher-level player under Pep Guardiola:
