Manchester City Set for Major Changes This Summer: Grealish Decides to Stay

Manchester City's management plans to significantly renew the squad ahead of next season. Although transfers already began at the start of the new year, major changes will occur during the summer transfer window.

The main reason behind this decision is the player's high salary. Tottenham and his former club Aston Villa have shown interest in Grealish, but they cannot offer the same high wages that Manchester City pays.

For this very reason, the 29-year-old attacking midfielder intends to remain with the Citizens until the end of his contract.

Recall that Manchester City bought Jack Grealish from Aston Villa in the summer of 2021 for a record-breaking 117.5 million euros. Currently, the player is valued at 35 million euros according to Transfermarkt, and his contract with the club lasts until the summer of 2027.
