Grealish's future to be decided: Everton wants to keep him

Grealish's fate to be decided: Everton wants to keep him

Jack Grealish, one of the most expensive signings in the history of Manchester City, temporarily parted ways with the team at the beginning of the season to join Everton on loan. Now, as the championship nears its conclusion, the experienced midfielder is on the verge of making an important decision regarding his future.

Since joining the Merseyside club, Grealish has significantly improved his performance under head coach David Moyes. He was playing with confidence and managing to regain his previous high level of form. However, an injury sustained in January sidelined him for a period, disrupting his rhythm.

Nevertheless, the Everton management has not abandoned its intention to sign Grealish permanently during the summer transfer window. The club wants to keep the player on the team. However, executing this plan will not be easy.

This is because Manchester City values its player quite highly, demanding approximately 50 million pounds for his transfer. This poses a problem in terms of Everton's financial capabilities.

Interestingly, the player himself has a clear position regarding his future. Grealish has stated that he does not plan to return to City if head coach Pep Guardiola remains with the team. This further increases the likelihood of him staying at Everton or moving to another club.

For reference, Grealish's current contract with Manchester City runs until the summer of 2027.

In short, it is clear that there will be intense negotiations surrounding Jack Grealish during the summer transfer window. His next destination will depend not only on agreements between the clubs but also on the player's personal decisions.
