Husinboy Matrasulov presented Uzbekistan with the first medal at the Asian Weightlifting Championship

The Uzbek national team won its first medal at the Asian Senior Weightlifting Championships in China. Khusinboy Matrasulov, who defended the honor of our country in the -67 kg weight category, successfully won a bronze medal.

Our compatriot successfully lifted the 140 kg barbell in the clean and jerk, taking a place in the top three in this category and winning a bronze medal.

However, Matrasulov was a little less lucky in the clean and jerk and jerk. Although he showed a result of 165 kg in the clean and jerk, this figure was not enough for medals. According to the results of the two snatches, our athlete was limited to 4th place overall with a result of 305 kg.

Thus, Khusinboy Matrasulov recorded the first medal of the Uzbek national team in this prestigious competition for our country. Other members of our national team are also working to achieve successful results in their weight categories and win new medals within the framework of the championship.
